It was a second home game in a row, and though the grounds were a bit squelchy and there were a couple of small showers, most of the morning was clear and the children played their hearts out in patchy sunlight. Thanks again for the effort from the volunteers who helped create a great atmosphere for a most enjoyable day.
U12 Sharks played their first comp game of the season, in the rain, at Multisports, Mudjimba against Chancellor. It was even match ending 2-2. The kids played well and MVP went to Jayden as a standout defender.
U9 Barracudas played an evenly matched Noosa Gold team. Our team completed more passes and drove forward with more players, resulting in a couple of extra goals over the competition. We were short players, so we thank the Noosa Black team who helped out with two energetic subs. Joey got MVP with a special mention for excellent goal-keeping by both Harris and Bodhi which saved the win.
